C<\/span><\/span>hili <\/span>launched<\/span> a new AVOD service <\/span>available<\/span> on <\/span>its<\/span> streaming <\/span>platform<\/span>: from <\/span>now<\/span> on <\/span>all<\/span> the users can <\/span>whatch<\/span> a <\/span>selection<\/span> of movies<\/span>, <\/span>documentaries<\/span> and <\/span>series<\/span> for free<\/span> with advertising. <\/span>Among<\/span> the <\/span>titles<\/span> are <\/span>masterpieces<\/span> by big directors <\/span>such<\/span> as<\/span> Kubrick, Coppola <\/span>and<\/span> Antonioni<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/header>\n
\nChili officially launched its AVOD (Advertising-based Video On Demand) service including a wide selection of movies and documentaries to enjoy for free thanks to the advertising support. The full library is available <\/span>here.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Just as happens with premium titles, AVOD movies come with trailers, extra videos, in-depth features and interviews thanks to Chili\u2019s digital magazine HotCorn.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To start whatching movies for free, all that is needed is to register with no need to enter a payment method. These are minor titles, with a mix of blockbusters and b-movies, in which Italian movies played by popular actors such as Alberto Sordi, Tot\u00f2, Terence Hill and Bud Spencer stand out. How not to mention some goodies from directors such as Bergman, Truffaut, Godard, Kubrick, Coppola and Antonioni.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The platform enlisted the help of 4,200 users to design the new AVOD segment in the past few months, who provided suggestions and opinions on the best kind of service to be deliver.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“2020 was a year of great transformation whose consequences are going to leave their mark in the next years” said Giorgio Tacchia, the company’s founder and CEO. “We want to reach out to customers by offering an additional service alongside TVOD (transactional video on demand), which still remains our core business\u201d.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chili is available via iOS and Android apps, smart TVs, Chromecast, Fire TV Stick and PCs according to the requirements stated on the official website.
